I hope you've been enjoying the lovely sunshine we've been having and that it's put a spring back into your step, but if like so many people you're starting to panic about bearing your flesh as the warmer weather (finally!) draws nearer, fear not we're here to help! Be it with personal training for a focused approach, our cost effective Gravity & Pilates classes, or the completely free option for all you ladies out there - join Team ICE in the Race for Life!.... Read on for details.

Gravity Class Update
The Gravity classes have been going down a storm as they are a fun, time efficient and very effective workout, but don't take my word for it! Here's some of the feedback we've received:

"Hugely challenging and immediately rewarding. Isn't this what exercise should be all about? Gravity classes are a brilliant innovation, delivering noticeable physical results in weeks, and very satisfying mentally. Believe me, they also make a big difference to fitness for other exercise." (Dominic Hart who took part in our 4 week challenge).

"I am really enjoying the gravity classes- much more than I expected. Using the machines really hits the spot- all my muscles get focused on with none of the joint pain and impact most classes create, and the cardio elements are challenging but quick! You get a really good workout and the time simply flies. My muscles are already feeling more toned and lean- bikini's here we come!" (Sarah Jepson who has been completing 1-2 classes per week).

'I have been doing Gravity sessions with Amy for approx 2 months now. I really enjoy that it is an all body work out, you are working against your body weight and therefore push yourself each week as you improve. I also like the groups are kept to a max. of 4 so you still feel you are getting individual attention. I have definitely seen more body definition around the hips and arms in the last 8 weeks and my core has improved. The session flies by and Amy always keeps you focused and motivated." (Annette Blunden)

Free Gravity Class in March
For those of you who missed out on the open day back in Jan, we are offering a free gravity class anytime in March for anyone who is yet to try it out. Simply book yourself into a class via any of the ‘book online’ tabs on the website www.icefitness.co.uk: once you have been redirected, create a user id, click on the class you’d like to book and ‘register without paying’.

New Class Times
We have added a new gravity class to the timetable at 9:30 on Monday mornings and will hopefully be starting another 9:30 class on Friday mornings after Easter. Our full studio timetable can be seen at the bottom of this page or follow this link to view the timetable on our website and book classes online.

Online booking system integration
We have been trialing the online booking system for classes for 2 months now and on the whole it has been a great success, we would therefore like to encourage those of you who are attending classes to manage all bookings yourself using the online system to book and cancel all classes. Please be reminded of our 24 hour cancellation policy, any classes not cancelled before this cut off are charged in full and the online system automatically deducts the class from your credits. If you are not 100% sure you will make it to a class, please wait until the day of the class and then book if there is still space to avoid being charged.

The most common question I am getting from people re using the booking system is how to cancel classes: When you login you will see the larger tabs at the top which say 'Pilates Classes' 'Gravity Classes' 'my info' 'online store', you need to click on 'my info' you will then get 5 subheadings, click on 'my schedule' and you will see a list of all classes you are booked into with the option to cancel the individual classes. If you do this before the 24 hour cancellation window, the class will be removed from your history completely, if it is within the 24 cancellation window it will show up as a late cancellation on your account history. If you want to know how many credits you have remaining, click on 'my account'. If you are using any of our other services such as personal training/massage you will also see details of all these and how many sessions you have remaining in this section too.

If you have any questions or are having any problems with the online booking system please email amy@icefitness.co.uk so that they can be fixed asap.

Important info Re Pilates Classes
The Tuesday evening Pilates classes are getting a bit cosy so I have therefore decided to relocate them into a local church hall, as of Tue 23rd March there will be a 7pm pregnancy/foundation Pilates class and an 8pm beginners/mixed ability class at St John's Methodist Church, 9-11 East Hill, SW18 2HT (Click here for google map), it is less than a 5 min walk from the studio just before East Hill turns into St Johns Hill. There will be room for a couple more people in each class but numbers will be limited to maintain an intimate teaching environment. All other Pilates classes will remain in the Studio.

Personal Training Slots
The Pilates classes moving out of the Studio means there will be some new slots available for personal training on Tue evenings, these peak slots are always popular so if you'd like to register your interest let me know asap. Other peak time slots currently available are Tue 6 or 7am, Thu 6am, 8am, 6pm, Fri 6pm, Sat 8:30am.
