If you have any questions or would like to meet your personal trainer before committing you can come in for a free consultation, this is just an informal chat lasting approx. 15 mins where you can let us know what it is you would like to achieve and we can let you know how we can help. We can also discuss the different packages available to you to make sure you are getting the most cost effective option for your particular requirements.
In your first session you will be asked to complete a full medical & lifestyle questionnaire and we will decide your goals, we will also discuss your current/previous exercise habits and diet. Your personal trainer will then carry out a fitness assessment which will include biometrics such as weight & body fat %, an assessment of you CV fitness, strength, flexibility, posture and core stability. The information gathered in this first session will form the basis of your programme and will provide us with a baseline from which to monitor future progress.
Your personal training routine will be under constant evaluation to make sure you are getting the most out of your sessions and working towards your goals. The content of each session will depend largely on your goals but also the number of sessions per week and any other exercise you're doing. It is important to stick to a structured programme to allow your body time to adapt and improve but with regular changes to stimulate muscle activity, challenge your energy sytems, reduce boredom and increase motivation!
