Payments

Q. What happens when I make a payment?

A. You will be sent an email confirmation and a member of the team will be in touch within 24 hours to schedule your appointment. Orders placed on Friday afternoons and over the weekend will be dealt with on Mondays (Tue if bank holiday). If you would like an appointment within 24 hours of ordering, please call to arrange.

Q. What cards do you accept?

A. We accept most debit and credit cards. However credit cards will carry a 2.5% charge, debit cards are free.

Q. What if I pay for a service and you can’t fit me in?

A. If there is a particular time/day that you require, we recommend calling/emailing first to check availability. In the event you purchase sessions and we can’t fit you in, you will be entitled to a full refund provided it is within the 14 day grace period.

Q. What is your refund policy?

A. We have a 14 day grace period in which you can get a full refund for any sessions/courses that you have not yet started.

Q. How long are sessions valid for?

A. Blocks of 5 sessions are valid for 2 months from date of purchase, blocks of 10 sessions are valid for 4 months from date of purchase, gift vouchers are valid for 6 months from date of purchase.

Q. Are unused sessions refundable or transferable?

A. Following the 14 day grace period, any unused sessions are non-refundable and non-transferable.

Q. What is your cancellation policy?

A. All services are subject to a 24 hour cancellation policy, any sessions cancelled with less than 24 hours will be charged in full.

Gift Vouchers

Q. How do I receive my voucher?

A. You will be sent an email confirming payment and a second email to confirm your gift voucher has been shipped. The gift voucher will be sent to the address you provide using standard royal mail, if you would like it delivered to a different address please call or email once you've placed your order.

Q. How long are gift vouchers valid?

A. All gift vouchers are valid for a period of 6 months from date of purchase.

Q. I’m not sure which service the recipient would prefer, is it possible to get vouchers for a set amount of money rather than a particular service?

A. Yes, if you call us we can take payment over the phone and then send out the gift voucher in the post. You can select any amount starting at £50 and the recipient can use this towards any of our services.

Q. What if I buy a particular service (e.g. personal training) but the recipient decides they would prefer something else (e.g. massage), can they change it for something else?

A. Yes, the person in receipt of the voucher is welcome to choose an alternative service to the same value. In the event the required service is for a lower value the balance is non-refundable.

Personal Training

Q. I have never used a personal trainer before, what will each session involve?

A. This will depend largely on the results of your fitness assessment, your goals and exercise history, but loosely each session will involve a 5-10 min warm up, then the main workout time will be 30-40 min – this will most likely consist of a mixture of strength, stability and cardio-vascular exercise, followed by 10-20 min spent on core specific exercise and flexibility.

Q. I haven’t exercised in a long time and I am nervous about being pushed too hard, should I try to improve my fitness first?

A. No, this is not necessary, your personal trainer will only prescribe exercises that match your current fitness level and will gradually progress you onto harder exercises/workouts when you are ready. Your trainer will push you to get the most out of each session using positive encouragement and motivational techniques that you are comfortable with.

Q. Will anybody else be in the gym while I work out?

A. No you will have the studio all to yourself so you and your trainer can focus on your workout without any distractions.

Q. Can I arrange for a Personal Trainer to train me at home/in my local park?

A. Yes, we can arrange for a trainer to see you at the location of your choice in South West London at no extra charge.

Q. Do you do sports specific training?

A. Yes, if you are training for a particular sport or event we can tailor your workout to compliment your sport. We can also provide training programmes for you to do on your own and advise on how to stay injury free.

Q. Do you have anyone who specialises in pre-natal/post-natal exercise?

A. All our trainers are qualified to work with both pre & post natal ladies, however if you’d like to combine Pilates exercises to strengthen your pelvic floor & core muscles with general fitness training, then training with Amy would be the best option.

Q. Do you guarantee results?

A. Unfortunately we cannot guarantee results as we have no control over what you do outside of our sessions! Personal training should be a commitment from both sides, and you should try your best to follow any advice your trainer gives you to get the most out of your money.

Complimentary Therapies

Q. How does the home therapist service work?

A. You pay for your chosen therapy online and one of our team will call you within 24 hours to arrange your appointment. You will be given the mobile telephone number of your therapist in case you are delayed or need to cancel at the last minute. Your therapist will arrive 5 minutes early to set up the treatment couch, then you just sit back and relax!

Q. Do I need to provide any towels or oils?

A. No, your therapist will bring everything that they need to carry out the treatment.

Q. Can I request a particular therapist?

A. Yes when we call you to book you in you can request your favourite therapist.

Q. Can I arrange for a therapist to come at the same time every week?

A. Yes you can have a regular slot every week, just try to give as much notice as possible if you are going to miss a week.
