Our rehabilitation specialists work to get you back to full functional fitness following injury
Physical assessment is a key skill of a rehabber, the findings from the assessment will determine the plan of action. Treatment may involve soft tissue manipulation such as massage, METS (muscle energy techniques), joint mobilization and stretching
Remedial exercise prescription plays a major role in the rehabilitation of injury and your rehabber will be able to expertly guide you from painful & dysfunctional to pain free & fully functional – this could be a home based exercise programme, or a supervised programme on-site.

Rehabilitation therapy can help with:

  • Muscle strains/tears
  • Joint/ligament sprains
  • Tendinitis
  • Overuse injuries
  • RSI (repetitive strain injuries)
  • Knee pain
  • Back pain
  • Shin splints

Each Session will involve:

  • A thorough assessment of the injury and related biomechanics
  • Treatment which may include massage, joint mobilisation and stretching to reduce pain and inflammation, speed the healing process and increase range of movement
  • A remedial exercise prescription to strengthen damaged tissue, correct muscle imbalances, increase stability around joints and improve proprioception (neuromuscular control). This may be to do at home or in a gym

Rehabilitation Therapy is provided by a Graduate Sports Rehabilitator (GSR), or Sports Therapist and all our therapists are fully certified members of the British Association of Sports Rehabilitators and Trainers (BASRaT) or similar governing body.
